There are 3 words the end in '''gry''' One is Hungry and one is Angry....what's the other one?


I really don't know...that's why I'm asking....there was a hint that went along with it but i don't remember it...sorry

There is no common english word which makes the third "gry".

People quote words for african beads and stuff like that, but

they're not common english. "Augry" is a poetic form of "augury",

you can even find "Gry" as a word if get a good enough Dictionary.

Simply, there isn't one.

Hiya one reason for not knowing the answer to this riddle is that it has to be quoted exactly :-

"Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is."

The only part of the riddle that matters is:-

"There are only three words in the English language"

and if you write it as follows it makes the solution easy:-

There are only three words in "the English language"

So what's the 3rd word that everyone uses every day ? "LANGUAGE" ..........the 1st being "the" and "English" being the 2nd.
