It has not escaped this Pixie's notice that some of us are not all that thrilled with our sex lives...and wish to improve them.

My questions are for the married folks among them:

1. Would you ever consider having an affair?

2. If yes, would you ever tell your husband/wife?

3. What would you think about the person who you had relations with outside your marriage (get attached, keep it just physical, think about their morals)?

4. How would you justify this decision to yourself?

5. Do you believe an affair is a good long-term solution?


I know everyone's situation is different...but I would like some insights into your minds and hearts. I don't think any of us can judge for another person what is right for them...

I believe something is missing in a relationship if one feels the need to stray....either fix the original problem or leave each other....Having an affair just leads to lies and pain for one or both partners!!

I couldnt justify it...it would be cheating plain and simple

I could not, would not risk what I have to just fuck someone. I have to have a reason /need to fuck them. I agree that they may be filling a need that is lacking in my relationship. I also feel I am polyamorous and can have more than one type of relationship with a man/ men. My husband is the only one I wanna spend forever with but I wouldn't mind leasing someone else;)

4. How would you justify this decision to yourself?

I would not. If I have a relationship with someone else and keep it from my husband then I would take complete responsibility for having made that choice.

5. Do you believe an affair is a good long-term solution?

For me an open marriage would be an ideal situation. I never see deception as a solution.
