Ok I have been wanting to ask this for sometime but always seem to get distracted when I get on the site...wonder why....well anyway I would like to ask...

Does anyone have that special something from an old boyfriend/girlfriend or someone special they might have givin you or left at your house on accident and you just cant seem to get rid of it or give it back?

Ok mine is a plate. Albeit a pretty plate it is just a plate my first boyfriend brought me homemade cookies on. He said he made them but his mom called while he was on the way over and said "I know your not feeling well so i baked you some cookies...Josh is on the way over with them." But of course I played it off when he told me " I baked them myself."

And I still have it. And he wont get it back! That was 15 yrs ago.

come to think about it he might not want it back now...but oh well what i think about when i look, use or wash that plate.

I have sentimental things people have given me that I will never get rid of. I have old football jerseys from boys I dated in school and the like.

Yeah, I have an American-Japanese dictionary that was left behind by the Japanese exchange student that was my first love. I think She knows I have it though, and we're still friends.

I have never saved anything from past relationships before...until now.

I kept two momentos from the first few days I spent with my girlfriend. I saved the cork from a bottle of champagne we shared for breakfast one morning. We drank it from each other's lips and then made love like I never had before. It was wonderful.

I also kept her panties from that same morning. (This is less lewd than it sounds really.... LOL) You see, we are going to be away from each other for a while, and they were something tangible of hers. A way for me to be close. I can still smell the perfume she was wearing...mmmm.

They are both very sentimental to me.

I have a few things that bring back a ton of memories and emotions when I look at them.....
A rock, don't ask, but it was a terrific date!
A shell from a special day at the beach.
A couple of playbills and programs.
A pin I never wore cause I'm not a pin wearing girl, but it's beautiful.
And a couple of teddy bears. One very special one still gets a kiss on his nose every once in awhile. :)

Guess I'm not a keeper. I'm one of those girls who carefully boxes up all their stuff and sends it to them. I'm not even vendictive enough to send it COD.

But each and every single bloody one of them has kept at least one book of mine. Oh well, easy to replace the books.

I have a pair of my first boyfriend's flannel boxers that accidentally got in with my laundry and I always forgot to give back after I had washed them. I still wear them to bed at night once in awhile.
