Come out and cheer for Punxutawney Phil.....the most famous groundhog in Pennsylvania. The movie Groundhog Day, starring Bill Murray, was based in Punxutawney Pennsylvania, and Phil had a minor role in the flick.

If he sees his shadow today we'll have 6 more weeks of the wintery crap we've been having lately. It's gonna be sunny today...but here's hoping it clouds up as Phil scurries from his hole to see what all the hubbub is about! His record of predictions hasn't been very good in the past. Of his last 13 annual forecasts...he's been wrong 9 times. Sounds like most of the weather forecasters around here...but hey, they still get paid!

My baby sister surprised me yesterday. Called me and said she was in Mission Valley. Got to see her and she said it was 15 degrees in Maryland when she left. You guys need that groundhog to stay out!!!
