As you all know I am going to live in Montana with my lovely Curvy later this year.

There have been some complications though.

First my daughter got very upset that I would not see her High School leavers dinner and her presentation night. Curvy and i discussed this and decided that I would stay another couple of months in Tas so i could be there on Natalie's special occassions.

The best and quickest way I can get to live and work in the USA is to get a fiances visa. To get that you have to get married within 90 days of entering the country. That is not a problem in itself.

I always wanted my children to be present at my wedding and so do they. However my ex refused to allow the kids to travel over by themselves. So now she is going to comes as well, attend the wedding and stay with us !!!! (this was Curvy's suggestion)

Most likely my ex is going to look after all the kids whilst Curvy and I are away having our wedding night. What a strange twist

Just goes to show what incredible women you have in your life (you do a good job at picking them!!!). No matter how you look at it, your ex is still very much a part of the family, it's great that both she and Curvy recognize that and are able to look beyond any personal discomfort to make sure that all the children involved in your lives will be able to make the changes needed for all to be happy. :) Way to go all of you!

Wow! I'll say that's a strange twist hun! When we last talked it seemed to be leading up to this (sorta), but you hadn't heard all about the details of the fiancee visa. I think fzzy is right in that all the adults involved are trying to make this adjustment as easy as possible for the children...and that is a noble and very mature way to handle it!

(((((Curvy)))))...you are an amazing woman!

P.S. Hope she's feeling better Grumble! Damn wog!

Aren't humans wornderful, so layered, so vaired, capable of such tremendous good and also utter evil. In this case, everyone is expressing the light and living in heaven on earth. Two very groovy women.
You're gonna love Montana, well, you know that.

Just proves that when all is said and done, people are good at heart. It's also nice to see a mom who is more worried about her children, in a divorced situation, than herself. I am very happy for you all.

I think what we are all saying is that you being the person you are................ nothing should come as a surprise. Your honesty and intelligence shines so bright. Make the Best of it My Friend and all of us here Wish you all the Happiness your Life brings. You have been surrounded with Beautiful Hearts and Minds and that's a tremendous Gift. I feel a slight bit of Envy. (actually a Lot) ;)

Wow...what an interesting twist of fate. It will likely be easier to get your ex let the kids come and visit if she has time to scope the place out...likely for the best.

Good luck ~ and keep us updated!
