So it's just Diet Coke and regular Coke mixed...how disappointing. Anybody tried it? like it???
Not tried it, don't plan to.
Not a huge Coke fan myself... but if I were gonna drink it, it'd be the real deal.

Why ruin a perfect drink like Coke? They tried it once before with "new coke", we all know how well that did!

It seems like the bastard that invented pantyhose just keeps trying to mess with everything that's already perfect.

Bought a bottle at Kroger's the other day...yeh that's about it, 1/2 Coke & 1/2 Diet...not quite as good as the original, but a lot better than Diet...frankly, I think they're just jumping on the reduced-carb bandwagon...1/2 the sugar of regular Coke is still a lot of sugar, so not much help for Coke-addicted diabetics and the like....

Haven't tried it...prolly will...but now I'll be prepared (jaded)!
Speaking of "jumping on the reduced-carb bandwagon"...no better place to share this ancedote, so I'll share it here. I keep hearing a local commercial on the radio and I'm about to call them up and tell them off! There's a tire and auto supply store around here that is advertising that their "tires" are carb free and that because of that fact, everyone should buy them from them! Can you fuckin believe that? Who writes these things? Better question? Why would the owner of said tire and auto sullpy store think this is good advertising? I feel like jumping through the radio and smacking the shit out of someone!
*looks down to find myself standing on the proverbial soapbox*
Oops! Did it again...didn't I?
Sorrrrrrrrrrrrry!
Back to your regularily scheduled thread!

I think that commercial sounds funny. People are anti-carb crazy nowadays, you must admit!

Just bought one of these tonight, I had never heard of it. Anyway, I like it alot. It tastes just like regular coke and the way I look at it at 1/2 the sugar if it tastes good why not? I am not a big soda person, but every now and again it hits the spot! As I took my first sip I actually thought boy, they could probably do 1/4 of the sugar and it would still be sweet!!!:)

Got a free sample at the grocery store Saturday. Yuk. It tastes like the old Tab but w/o the slightly nasty aftertaste that Tab had. I don't see the point. If you are trying to cut calories or carbs or both, why not stick to a totally diet drink--Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi or DietRite?

Sounds like a rip.
Stick to Mt Dew
I'm with Scotz...that's exactly what it tastes like...1/2 reg coke and 1/2 diet...and like Steph said..the new sprite berry rush or whatever it's called is great..i'm drinking it right now...tastes like sprite mixed with raspberry schnapps...

Yeah, saw that at the store the other day. Cobalt and I were handed a free can of C2 - wasn't that impressed with it. I like the real thing... works better on the crap around the posts of car batteries... lol

Just bought Pepsi Edge....and am in love:love:
They use Splenda instead of Nutrasweet (which is deadly to me)...70 cals. with not too much aftertaste. I have always been a die hard Coke fan but not any more.

Don't much care for Coke or Pepsi so my opinion won't matter. Saw lime coke yesterday, they must have lost share or something to come up with all these out there mixes.
