As many,of you know, there have been many threats by the terrorists,to kill,
captured employees, unless their employer leaves the country! In my opinion,
this is giving in to the terrorists.MOST of these, detainees, are truck drivers.
I think that a ,stipulation of hiring, should be that the drivers, should sign,a release, that their company(or country) is not responsible for anything,if they
are taken hostage.If they don't sign,they don't get hired.If you want the
money, you take responsibility for your actions.I don't know, how it works now,
but after discharge from the service,I was offered a job overseas. The company paid extra for overseas,& a dangerous area.(Similar to Combat pay)

You know Irish...I've been here 3 years and never once have I seen the word beheading in a title in this sex forum.

Lil, it's a sign of the times.

Beheading is an act of utter barbarity and a clue to what we're fighting.

This is not to do with "not getting head", dealt with elsewhere.

Lilith---It has never been said that I don't express myself differently! Irish

Irish, just say what you want to say.

If anyone's upset about you being different, they've lost the plot of why they're here.

We are all different, and if anyone disagrees with what you said, let them defend the difference.

If anyone disagrees with how you've said it, tell the that oldfart said "get fucked" (you may

quote me) and that we are here for content, not grammatical wankery.

Sorry mate, a bit carried away.

Always glad to hear your spin on stuff.

Ya know, lately I've been giving alot of thought to things like this. I have a cousin and two very close friends in Fallujah as we speak. My cousin is a Navy Seabee (construction, heavy equipment operator) and my friends are in an Army maintenence battalion (sp?) I would be safe to say that any of them would not expect the US Military to back out just because they were captured. The truck drivers and other civilians over there working are getting paid amazing amounts of money to be there. Hell, even I considered trying to get a job over there as a mechanic. They knew the risks when they signed on to go over. I didn't necessarily agree with the US still being in Iraq, especially after they captured Sadaam. Since he's been turned back over to Iraq (stupid move) I would almost expect him to gain power again...so, we need at least SOME troops there. I still say this Iraq war will drag on just like Vietnam did and I definitely dont' agree with that, but I'm not in charge. As far as what OF said, I've already had one person here pretty much tell me they do not wish to chat with me anymore because I agree with some of the things Irish has said recently. I hate that it comes to that, but I have to say what's on my mind sometimes.....Ok...rant over.

Most of the jobs with Haliburton in Iraq pay close to $100,000 US a year not sure it's worth loosing your head over, but that is a helluva lot of money.

Eros---When I was younger,I thought that if you thought differently,then I did,you were wrong.Hopefully,as you age,you get smarter.Now I realise that,
your thoughts(outlooks)may be different then mine, but you can still be a good
person. To quote OF,Fuck them! It's to bad that others can't respect differing
opinions, but in the long run,the only person that you have to satisfy is the
person, that looks back from the mirror. You couldn't respect yourself,if you
didn't state your convictions, instead of what is popular. My advice is,to stick
with your convictions, not someone elses! Irish
