Tampering With Evidence

A 44 year old highschool Spanish teacher in my area got detained at the airport when he tried to take a film canister with some pot in it on a plane. If found guilty it would have been a misdemeanor and he'd have still kept his job due to his impeccable record. However, he got nervous and grabbed the canister off the counter and swallowed it's contents. Now he's up for a felony, evidence tampering, and is gonna lose his job. Poor dude. Just gave me a giggle. sometimes we get ourselves in so much deeper when we try to save ourselves.

It is funny what we do to ourselves. Reminds me of being a little kid and making candles with my cousin, which my mother had forbidden us to do while she wasn't home. We got so nervous that we were trying to hide the evidence, started out dumping the hot wax down the sink, then freaked out 'cuz we thought it might clog the drain. So we proceeded to take the pan of hot melted wax outside and dumped it on the ground. Like she wouldn't see a huge spot of purple wax in our driveway! LOL....I got in soooo much trouble! But I can just remember the panic I felt and we just reacted. I think panic ruins brain cells! :rolleyes:

And huntersgirl, that was a priceless story about the wax! I laughed my ass off because that's exactly how people wind up in these situations...they panic!

Well, gee, look, the powers that be have created another criminal where there wasn't one, trampled all over the rights of a person to live his life the way he sees fit, found another excuse to single out a randomly-selected victim, and conned people into going along with it.

Poor guy. It is funny though how acting without thinking generally makes our lives more complicated rather than less.

I think my spanish teacher migrated lol, i swear that man has been on wayyyy to many lol. anyway i guess the stay cool method doesn't work for him.
