I can't believe this (http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/europe/08/04/uk.chainsaw.death.reut/index.html). I am seriously hoping Mr. Lil doesn't get any bright ideas.

I was debating sending that item to you as a sex news. Decided it wasn't sexy enough.

This guy is someone who really should have learned to juggle.

Don't chain saws have some sort a protective thingy to prevent this??? Where is WildIrish he is the wife in the chipper-shredder expert?

There's a safety lever which is suposed to stop the chain running when it's released. It is possible, that as the man was falling off the ladder, he was too startled to think to let go on the way down. After all, if you're falling off of something, the ususal instinct is to hold onto whatever's in your hand, not to let go of it.

Either that, or he disabled the safety lever :p

My chainsaw has a safety feature that shuts the engine off when I throw...I mean drop it. :D

Wouldn't she have gotten hit by the falling branches? Why was she gardening at the bottom of the ladder?

Ohhhhhhh...I get it now!

I might do lots of crazy, some might even say stupid things but I know when to draw the line. I do not chain saw above my head, and I do not work on roofs that are 12/12 three stories up.

The kick back guard only came out in the late 80's. I'm sure there are lots of chain saws out there that do not have that feature on them. I would be surprised if he was also wearing all of the saftey gear.

Which brings up the age-old question:

If a man is alone in the woods, & his wife isn't there to correct him, is he still wrong?

The correct answer is

a) I'm sorry.
b) I'm sorry. (hands her flowers)
c) I'm sorry. (gives her jewelry)
d) I'm sorry. (takes off his clothes, climbs into the restraints, and presents himself for discipline)
e) all of the above (except for D, that one if for Lilith)

One of the trees will mention it in front of its wife tree, and then the phone calls will begin, and yup, you are still wrong.

Oh my gosh! That's terrible! No wonder the poor man's in shock. I would be too. Ever since high school I've been terrified of chain saws! Now this clinches it. Paranoia has fully set in.

If he fell off a ladder and the chainsaw hit her about the head, it may well have had enough

momentum to kill her without the actual chain doing any damage.
