Had my 5 yr HS reunion on Friday...

and, some people looked the same, some lost ALOT of weight and need to put some back on; while others gained some(or alot). One guy had gained 50 above his previous 180(looked kinda scrawny then) and then lost 30. But, at 20lbs over where he thought he should be, he looked damn good! Better in my opinion than he did in HS. I told him he looked fine like he was! LOL!! :slurp: :drool:

Reunions can be alot of fun. Some good friends now were kids i couldnt stand in school. People can change alot over the years some you know right away and others its who the hell is that! There was only 46 in my class and we have all kept tabs on each other over the years, it has been interesting to sit back and watch some of them.

I can't say I see much of a point to a 5yr reunion. I saw enough of the people I went to school with often enough the first couple of years after graduation that getting together didn't have much of a purpose. I will be going to my 10yr though.

My ten year reunion will be due just after Fussy and I tie the knot.

Hoping to weight less than I did in high school by then, and hopefully have better skin too! Plus a great tan from my honey moon abroad.

There were talks in 2001 that we'd have a ten-year reunion but we thought it was too soon. Most start at the 20-year mark, do they not?

I'm sort of surprised that people can change so much in five years but yep, when I've returned to the island, I've seen the same thing. Glad there were some hotties for you to ogle! :D

Must of my age group didn't like HS when when we were there, so no reunions have ever happened.

we skipped the 5 year reunion, and had a ten year. The planning committee wasn't a good one, and from what I understand it wasn't well attended. I didn't attend, so I can't say for certain.
