I'm a full time college student (will be a senior after this semester!) and 20 hours a week I work at the Testing Office at my school doing general office duties. A large part of what I do though is reading/writing/helping handicapped students take their exams, not tell them answers lol but more like tutor them.
I'm a legal secretary ... and a part-time medical transcriptionist ... and in the odd hours in between I try to motivate myself to do more creative writing.

I'm a retired supervisor from a large company's information technology department. Now, just work part time for mad money. My wife watches young children at a local school after parents drop them off and before classes start ... and then again in the afternoon before the parents pick them up. And, we do a lot of volunteer work.

I'm the lead singer in a well known R&R band...(and then I woke up!)
OK...I am a seamstress, and have sewn everything from tuxedos to stage curtains to Saudia Arabian army shirts. I am currently (past 7-8 years or so) making prototype furniture (sofa, settee, chair), mostly for offices...but some are for personal use. I helped design and sew the seating for the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, and just recently made seating for a palace somewhere in India. Get this...there were leather pieces in the collection!!???? Aren't cows "sacred" in India? Yeah...I thought so too! LOL! *shrug*
Mr. Lixy is an explosives engineer. They drill holes, pack um with powder and blow up rock. He finds many crystals, arrowheads, and on occasion they have had to shut down the site because they find dinosaur bones. Pretty interesting stuff, actually.

I am a volunteer(non-paid position) working with 8 kindergarten classes with aprox. 21 kids in each class. Oh yeah you want the money part. I am an eBayer and have been since 1999! I am also into the auction buisness side of things.
Mr. Summer does carpentry things. Since the three hurricanes came through he is always working now. He is also in the auction stuff with me.
And when times get extra tight we sell sell sell. I have even been known to sell the couch right from under us. ;) When my children don't clean their rooms I say "You might want to put things away or take them to my office for me to sell them!" LOL my son quickly grabs the items and puts them away. My daughter says to me to sell it all. Geez my kids!

I manage commercial and industrial real estate for third party owners. I've been involved with real estate for 12 years now, but I used to run the office for a company that manufactured and distributed preportioned food for weight loss clinics.

I'm a legal secretary/assistant/Girl Friday in a one-attorney operation that my boss opened in September. Before that, we were both employed by the same law firm, me for almost five years and her for almost six. Now, I'm the only one with a guaranteed paycheck, but we both benefitted with a more relaxed atmosphere, albeit with more responsibility.
Kleclere does his computer thing. :) Because we don't live in an overly-populous area, he drives about 45 each way every day to be the number one, long-term temporary employee at a computer help desk for Monsanto, the seed company. We're hoping something permanent comes this way soon.
I am the IT dept for an international wholesale company. (That is, when I am not adding color to photo's of Lilith... :p )
My SO is an accountant for a major worldwide corporate/franchise operation.

Hi5 to another professional vampire here at pixies!!!!
Slap one on me too! :D I still have my medical lab technician certification, though I haven't done that sort of work in a while. I was a pretty good blood-sucker in my day. I mostly did the testing part though. I was the technical supervisor for a microbiology reference lab, specializing in parasitology. Yummy!
I also used to work on helicopter avionics, been in law enforcement and been a soldier (along with the typical hair-net and name tag jobs). LOL
But since I just moved, I'm still looking for a job. In the meantime, I'm trying to get things fixed up here around the house. :)
