The BBC News website ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi.html ) has won the main award for general excellence in journalism prize at the Online News Association (http://journalist.org/2004conference/) awards in Hollywood.
This latest recognition for the BBC News website, was won by beating CNN.com, WashingtonPost.com, and the Wall Street Journal website.
