They have been on my mind all day. I wish I had taken the kiddos down there.
I wish I could see a shuttle launch*.
I have been thinking about it too, praying for a safe trip.

Ladies and gentlemen this HOT off the news and i mean HOT
at 1:32 EDT the launch for today was scrubbed. There was a problem with one of the four low fuel level cutoff sensors wasnt working correctly.
Ah well it will go soon
Well, maybe Lilith will get a chance to take her kiddo's after all.
*shrugs*
Sucks that it was postponed, but at least they are playing it safe.

nothing re-scheduled as of yet either.......ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry but NASA is losing it's credibility faster than you can say 'another faulty fuel gauge'.

Imagine how embarassing it would be to have to send a tow truck up when it runs out of gas? :D

You'd think they could just wing it...they know how much it holds :p

Lil, if they can't meter their usage of the fuel, they won't know when and if they are in
danger of a burn fizzing early ( if the other three sensors fail).
The sooner they get rid of the shuttles and go to a space-plane for the crew and
rockets for the payloads the better.
