Me? Cleaning and shopping tonight.

Tomorrow I am volunteering in the morning, and then getting ready for a BBQ/Party we're having at our place. We invited 70 people, and only have definitive no's from 18...so we *may* have quite the turnout.

Sunday we're headed over to the Art and Wine festival in Menlo Park.

Lil....doing anything fun?

Mrs. WI and I are going to Boston for a baby shower tomorrow. We'll spend the night & poke around before coming home Sunday.

We hope to have a really nice dinner out and maybe a little "anniversary celebrating" too! :hot:

Mi madre is bringing my boys home and so it will be getting them settled back in. I've missed them so much.

I'm bumming around tomorrow, probably will pick up a small birthday present to add to the ones I've already given my daughter and will more than likely mail it west, so that it'll arrive on time next week. Other than that, my sweetie and I are scheduled to see "Pirates" tomorrow night, and it's supposed to be gorgeous tomorrow and Sunday, so I'll think about tanning/swimming/other relaxing things. :)

We have our companies summer party this weekend. A 4 hour drive degrading into horse back riding and some sort of roping game.

To tell the truth, I would rather not go but damn...they have taken good care of us this year.

<--both work for the same place.

Weather "meteorologist" (do they just say that or is there an actual college course one takes for it?) said it'd be nice this weekend but humid...and it's raining BUCKETS at this very moment!

Was gonna put the fence up for our new ool (notice there is no "P" in it!) and mow the lawn, which is about up to our knees from all this fecking rain lately!

SHIT...now I'm booted offline cause of Thor...the god of thunder!

I'll keep typing till I can post...roflmfao!

Should prolly shut-down but then I just have to sweat and wait it out. Geezzzzz...how can it rain so much when all it's been doing is raining?

Hey PF! Keep your "lake effects" to yourself...will ya?

Awwwwww...that's not really fair. We might be having a Nor'Easter. Or it's coming from Gerrywill (Gerryville). Or it's coming up the coast. In any case...my plans are shot for the moment!

Um...what was the question?

mmmmmmmm sexy new kitchen floors yum!

Lixy we are sooooooooo in need of rain here. And yes you take courses in meteorology. Here our chick on the news is very very dyed blonde and she wears black black black eye liner. She teaches the meteorology courses at the Com. Col. and I always swear I am going to take her class just to tell her in the course evaluation that she needs to slip over to the cosmetology dept. and let them help her out.

Be careful what you wish for....ya just might get it

We are in serious drought here...we desparately need the rain and its just not happening

Our city is, at the end of this month, going onto Level 5 water restrictions and it is no joke let me tell you

No held held hosing (current)
No watering systems not approved by council (current)
No watering systems approved by council
No watering by bucket/watering can (currently can on Wed, Fri & Sun)
No new turf (current)
No special watering permits (current)
No cleaning of paved areas (current)
No vehicle washing (current, windows only and must be by bucket only)
No washing of buildings (current)
No filling of swimming pools or outdoor spas

We are known as the Garden City, but there are none, the council had to remove all the flower beds and put in coloured gravel/stones or bark

This is the state of my lawn...i dont think it will recover this time

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i124/Alasse_au/Mylawn.jpg

Its just a dust bowl....and the majority of lawns are in the same state...as we are not permitted to water them

We go to vote on bringing in recycling of waste water (24%) in a few weeks...our dams are at around 20% capacity....enough water to last til around 2008-10....tis a scary thought for a city our size to run out of water let me tell you

Sharni, that's terrible. We're in good shape in comparison, although we also are experiencing something of a drought. We got more than an inch and a half a few days ago and already the ground is dry again. But, the Illinois river and some of the other water storage facilities are doing okay so far.

Seems so unfair that some areas bake while others can't hardly get rid of all their water there's been so much.

Hope you get some rain soon. We'll keep you guys in our thoughts. (You were already, but now even more so.)

(((( HUGS ))))
