Mickey Spillane the creator of hard boiled detective Mike Hammer died yesterday at his home in South Carolina. He was 88 years old. Spillane wrote about 13 novels and Dective Hammer went on to star in movies and T.V. series.

If you're a mystery fan, he'll definitely be missed. We loved the Stacy Keech television show, "Mike Hammer," that was based on Mickey Spillane's character.
