.....Two people were killed in Washington in traffic accidents involving windblown trees, while one died after getting trapped in her flooded basement. A fourth person was killed in his sleep by a tree that fell on his home. On the Oregon coast, an elderly couple died in a fire caused by candles they were using for light......
We have some Pixies that have joined the Christmas/disaster club, but not the type related to checking accounts. There are pockets of people around the planet that will always associate the holidays with a calamity and this year we have a few Pixies within one of those circles in the US, northwest.

I believe we have at least one other member that is not listed on our Pixie map, that is in the affected area. We will be watching for posts from them before the candles have to be used for more than decorations this season.

Remember Pixies survival rule No.1-
Stay warm :sex:

My, what a weekend.

My office was out almost two days, but thankfully, at home, I was in a 'pocket' that never lost power.

There are still thousands without power and many, many folks with trees on, and in, their homes.

This tree fell near my house and thankfully didn't destroy anything.

Glad you're okay, Aqua. We kept you in our thoughts. Wow. What a storm. Hopefully that's one of those "once a century" things that won't happen again.

Thanks db! I appreciate it. *manhug*

I really hope we don't get another like this for a long time, but this has already been a rather wild... Autumn?! Sure seems like Winter to me.
