I have a source that I stumbled onto for those special batteries that are required in so many electronic things today. I'm not talking about 5% or 10% less but HALF of what seems to be the going price after shopping around. I have passed this site along to family and working friends that only seem to come back with "is the stuff any good?". All I can tell you is that I have been buying there merchandise for a few years now and nothing has been below par in any way for me or the people I've referred to them. Check it out for any of the batteries that you know the pricing of for yourself.

What I want to do here is share the source with my Pixie friends and provide a place for us to list like items. This is not any kind of endorsement form Pixies in any way. It is just a place to share what you have found to be an exceptional source for something with friends.

Cool. I will pass that along to people I know use batteries a lot. I have mentioned befroe that I get good deals at www.woot.com on new and refurbished electronics.

We'd have to run the numbers, but from everything I've seen on those $40-$80 batteries it still could be a bargan. :shrug:


I sure hope they do Nav. :D We aren't talking about flashlight batteries there. Those are the high-end CAMERA:p and CAMCORDER:slurp: batteries. hint hint :D

I deliberately buy cameras which take AA batteries. I have seen too many people crying because they have flat batteries which won't get better until an overnight charge. I just dump the 2 CRV-3s and pop in another pair, time lost - seconds.
