Um, 6 correct: #s 4, 6, 7, 9 & 10. For some reason, I had 113 years as the duration of the "Hundred Years' War". And I was only partially correct about sheep being the source of catgut. Oh, Chinese Gooseberries are otherwise known as Kiwifruit. "Uncle Albert" was referenced in a Beetles song ("A Day in the Life", maybe (?).

I had seen a similar quiz many years ago (how many is more than I care to recall), so I gave myself at least partially correct on 4 (I knew about sheep but not horses, & didn't know the exact # but knew that the 100 Yrs war was more than 110 yrs). The earlier quiz actually explained the reasons behind the odd answers, e.g. "Canary" was a distortion of the word we know as canine, hence the dogs. I also remember the last Q was thrown in to trip you up: How long was the Thirty Years War? Thirty years, of course

"Uncle Albert" was referenced in a Beatles song ("A Day in the Life", maybe (?).
That's "Uncle Albert & Admiral Halsey" by Paul McCartney & Wings, give you partial credit for that...except I think Uncle Albert was an actual relative of Macca's, not a reference to George VI. I could be wrong.
