…..My youngest daughter; the one with the autistic son; since her divorce; has been dating; exclusively; a man who was married before. He has 3 kids. She called me; first thing; this morning. She wanted to alert me; before I heard it; on the news; that his oldest son; was killed in a car crash ;last night. If it wasn't for BAD luck; she wouldn't have ANY luck; at all!
Seems that sometimes a person is not measured by their height on the mountain, but by the load they carry.
Sorry to hear the news bro.

Irish, I know I added condolences where you first posted the news, but this is really the right place. PF said it very well in the quote he used. You know you have all of our best thoughts.

Oh Irish......My heart is with you and your family! I am so sorry for the sad news! Please be strong!......To everything there is a season and a reason, even if the reason is not obvious at this moment. We borrow life.....and when it is taken away in the blink of an eye the sadness can be overwhelming! In time it will fade and the happy memories will prevail!

*Love and Hugs*

Sometimes we can not fathom the pain and sufferring someone is feeling when they come here and interact with us or even people we experience in our everyday lives.....so important to be there for eachother.

Irish~ I am so sorry for you daughter's friend's loss...no one should outlive their children...it is just wrong ((hugs))

and for another special friend who is in pain right now~ cyber hugs can never replace real ones....... just know I am here

Irish... I join all of those above (as well as those yet to post) in extending to you my condolences. I only wish that I could offer you and your daughter a tight hug. It isn't right, that many of us out live our children, it goes against the laws of nature and from experience I know that it is something that one never gets over.

In many ways.. it is harder for those closest to the parent. Your daughter is going to have alot of weight placed upon her shoulders and no doubt as her parent you are gonna want to comfort her and help her the best that you can. Just know that we are here for you... a shoulder.. whenever you need one...

Irish,

I have no words.....everyone before me has been much more eloquent than I could ever hope to be.
Just know that I'm very sorry such a tragedy has been visited upon your family. I'm here if you need to talk.

I don't really know anyone here very well because I just sort of float in and about... but I just wanted to leave my condolonces to your daughter, the man whom she's been dating and others who are unfortunately affected by the loss.

Hopefully that unlucky streak will run dry soon as well...
