Does anyone have any advice for a disgruntled computer user. I have an Imac which may be the problem, but I can never get into the chat room. I dont have this problem anywhere else,is it the computer or me?

I know next to nothing about Java for MacOS, but you could download Ircle and use that instead of connecting from here.

go to www.dansmirc.com
this is where you can download a program that allows you to access the entire chat system that our chat currently operates from. It is well worth doing it!

FUNNY YOU SHOULD SAY THAT....because yes, you were invisible.
When I clicked on the poor blokes question over an HOUR AFTER you had answered....I ONLY saw HIS question.
I have NO idea how it worked but when I went back to the main page, I noticed that indeed there was something posted on that forum, so I went back. At that time your answer was there...I had only been away for maybe 20 seconds, but the timing of your answer was from earlier.
It really was weird and I wonder if this is what happened to aflyerfan too!
:D
Aren't computers FUN kids?
It's interesting we depend on them so much...kind of scary too!

Ircle is an IRC client for MacOS, just as mIRC is for Windows. You can download it from http://www.ircle.com/, and you're welcome.
I don't know why my replies should be taking longer to show up than normal. Apparently Lilith didn't see mine to her, either.
