Just last year for Thanksgiving we had our oldest son's friend and his little boy. They were alone for Thanksgiving, so we had them join us.
Would you ever work at a soup kitchen? |
Every year I do......why? wanna come too? :)
Do you like Christmas? |
I haven't yet but yes I probably would
would you ever give gifts to charity instead of exchanging them? |
I've been thinking of asking my mother to do that for me this year . . . she does buy cool clothes for me, though!
Have you ever cheated on your SO? |
nope
have you? |
Not officially . . . we were separated and it was only a matter of time . . . I'm not sure if that counts or not.
Do you remember where you were when JFK died? |
Yes, I was in Choral class in High School, Room 201. I'll never forget it the longest day I live.
Are you old enough to remember JFK's assasination? |
No, only JFK Jr. I'm listening to a great program about the Kennedy era on cbc.ca right now.
What's your earliest memory? |
Going to the grocery store with my dad -- I was about 5 years old. I know that's pretty old -- but that's my earliest. :(
What is oyur BEST childhood memory? |
Fishing trips with my Dad. Always lots of laughter.
What's your saddest childhood memory? |
The earliest vivid (and very isolated) memory that I can ever recall, is laying in a crib at night, during the war and seeing the heavy fog in the small, high window with only the street light behind it. I think it was the sound of the old foghorns that that made the imprint of the scene. To this day, the sounding of the horn………. then the distant reply from what must have been a ship, takes me to another, comfortable, place. :)
Yes. I’ve always lived near the lake. Is there a sound that makes you recall another place or time? (A GOOD place or time) |
Sorry there BigBear57.:o Guess I spent more time remembering than typing.
|
When I hear the wimpy waves of Lake Ontario ;), they remind me of the Atlantic gales that caused the waves to SMASH against the shore.
What do you argue with your SO about most? |
dinner.
what household chore do you hate the most? |
OMG! So tough to choose! I guess dishes since they're never ending.
Do you sometimes tune your SO out? |
No, I've never mastered that talent. He, however, and one of our sons are experts at it. Our son, when he was still small enough to need a highchair, had me sure he was deaf. He would ignore me when I was trying to feed him...staring off into space instead of eating. I snuck up behind him one day and whispered "candy"....he spun his head around so fast I thought he was in 'The Exorcist'!! LOL Needless to say, he was merely tuning me out.
Sorry for being so long winded......... Do you ever deliberately "forget" something your S/O has told you? |
She say's I do. :D :D
Do you remember birthday's and anniversaries easily? |
Nope! I usually need to be reminded.
do you remember "smaller" anniversaries like first dates? |
I remember our meeting anniversary ... when my wife and I first met on a blind date. :) And my anniversary for joining Pixies. :D Most of the time, though, I tend to forget. :(
