Hey Everyone. This is my first thread and it's really goofy, but oh well. Anyway, I'm a real big star wars nerd and just tonight i witnessed the kickass preview for episode 2 (it played before Blade 2, ugh). i know that there are a few more star wars fans on this site, so i'm just wondering if you all have seen the preview and i want to know what you thought about it. personally, it took my breath away. I can't wait for May to roll around, i will definately be one of the first to see it. woohoo!!

No matter how good, sequels slowly fade to mediocrity.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan! (Geek!) ;) I've seen all the trailers and the last one is the best so far. I'm starting to get excited about Episode 2, although I was a little disappointed in Episode 1 and Lord of the Rings was so good I temporarily neglected any thought toward #2. (But I will be there at opening night in costume... Like I said... geek! :D)

I too am a huge starwars freak the previews look awsome and I can't wait till episode two its going to be great Aqua who are you going as I'll be in my darth vader costume

I've only seen two of the trailers "Breathing" and "Forbidden Love" as they were titled on the website, then I had to get rid of my cable modem. WAHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I miss it just a little. Anyways....I've read tons about Ep.2 on the net, and from what little I've seen of the trailers, it looks as though this will be a much darker, more serious film compared to Phantom Menace. I'm just dying to see Jango Fett and Boba Fett as a little baby clone!..LOL

While I won't be dressing up(Nothing wrong with it just don't have a thing to wear :P ) I will be watching it on the midnight showing. And lucky me I don't have to camp out for tickets. There are just not that many starwars fanatics in my home town for that. Sure the line will be around the block but you don't have to camp out. Wish we all lived closer would be fun to watch it with all of you.

Yeah...one of my shop chiefs got my Basic Training ID and made a copy of my picture, blew it up and made a "Wanted: Santa's Missing Elf" sign...LOL. He was an asshole, but I got even later..LOL.

i was tagged with that label by a S.E.A.L.......sucker rode me all day.........i took it and did the assignments............stuck with me thru out my fleet svc....two damn ships.......got to were i didnt answer to my real name.........shit that was a long time ago....
but back to the subj of this thread.............i havent seen the hoopla yet.....how far in the future is this one from episode 1??

from what it looks like, going by Anikains age, probably 10 years. Amazingly, no one has aged but him!..LOL

Yes. It's 10 years after Ep 1. I heard some rumours and if they're true this movies gonna kick ass!

im a huge star wars fan, and im curious.....are they realy going to have N*SYNC cameo in it?........i really dont have anything against them but being a fan i dont like the idea of them in it.....even if it is for just seconds

No, they will not be in it. They were going to be, but due to fan outrage they were cut. I was pissed when I first heard they were to be in it and I've thought about this some and changed my mind on it... if they were total background with make-up and it wasn't like, hey it's those guys from N'Sync, I wouldn't have a problem... Only because I would do ALMOST anything to be an extra in a Star Wars film... even if you only saw my hands on screen because I had some huge ugly alien mask on, I'd be stoked to do it. Chances are they are the same way. Rumour was they were to be Jedi's that were killed in a large battle scene. Also, I know Samuel Jackson approached Lucas with the same attitude I have. He basically said, let me be in the film, any role, just put me in the film.

I want to be in it....as Anakin Skywalker, so I get to get it on with Queen Armidala (is she being played by Natalie Portman again?) :D

the guy who playes anikin went to my high school in toronto man I should have been nicer to him. oh well in my next life I'll be nice to every one I meet.

Got to see the long theatrical trailer Sunday before "Ice Age". This one looks alot darker than the first...kind of like the difference between "Star Wars" and "Empire Strikes Back" Even in the trailer, you can already see Anikain's tendencies for the Dark Side.

"Addam's Family Values"

Of course, it helps when the writers have a point to prove.

all the episodes are on tv this weekend....might have to give Pixies a miss :)

Episode II is going to be awesome. I've seen a few of the trailers before my comp froze for the first time since I got it up and running again.

Hi, that´s not fitting exactly, but I also have a Starwars question: tonight they are showing Episode 1 on freeTV for the first time here in Germany. How is that in the US? Is that shown rather soon after cinema? How much time is that ago now?
