I just wanted to say "Hi"to everyone!Most of the newer members
won't even know who I am.The; old time; regulars know that I
usually post quite a bit.I have;and still have;quite a bit to do
outside;and it keeps me very busy!I haven't had time to post anything but wanted you guys to know that I'm thinking of you.

(P.S. Real Den Mother's are in Cub Scouts only. Boy Scouts only have male leaders. No Mom's allowed on Boy Scout camp outs. Guess they were afraid of what might happen if we got too friendly with the male Scout leaders. Spoilsports!!:D :D )

I also;didn't mention(except privately;to Sugarsprinkles)that also
I was kind of busy; on the weekend;that included June 15th.That
was 10yrs since I gave up drinking alcohol.I told Sugarsprinkles;
because I knew that her husband;quit before I did.I'd;like to sound cool and say that I had a keg party;but that would defeat
the whole purpose of stopping.As it was;I took extra insulin(I'm
diabetic)and;my wife&I;went out for an ice cream.Now;I gave up
cigarettes,(over 30yrs;2pks Camels a day)alcohol(over 10 yrs),if
they tell me I'll die;if I don't give up sex at least I'll die with a smile
on my face!I didn't mention it earlier because it's just something
that I thought that I should do.I don't miss wine or whisky but I
LOVED beer.The hardest part was that altho;alcohol;is actually a
drug;it is accepted by the general public.Plus it's legal. Irish

Most likely it's legal because it's been in common use since before either of our countries had any type of anti-drug laws. After all, it was introduced to Europe when Sir Walter Raleigh brought it back to England from the New World in the late 1500's.
I believe if tobacco was a NEW substance it would be outlawed.
I don't think it would stand a chance of getting on the market today.
