Attention Hockey Fans
Well, first they did soccer (call it football if you want, but it's soccer to me), then NBA Basketball, and now Lego has done NHL hockey.
See: http://www.lego.com/eng/sports/hockey.asp If you get the "Slammer Stadium" set or the "NHL All Teams Set" you can apply the stickers with the team logo of your choice onto the 'players.' |
Oh shit ther goes another $358947583759827 dollars for Legos and a new vacuum cleaner:o
|
Actually I also just discovered they're starting an 'extreme sports' line in their catalog, but it's not on the website (yet).
Lego snowboarding and skateboarding, without the risk of banged up knees ;) Looks like the idea is similar to the fingerboards that are already popular, but you could get a bunch of pieces together and make your own Lego pipes and runs. |

.....and $342347209342 dollars in bandages from all of the times I step on the damn things and $23423423 in Chloroseptic spray from the accompanying screaming that occurs. |

Well, see if I offer to share any of my toys anymore! :p |

Um, you said nothing about sharing *your* toys. I may have to reconsider this. :p |
When they put together a lego's pixie woman with wet mouth attachment...call me.

I may have to add "buy one of everything in the Lego catalog" to my 'what would you do with powerball winnings' thread. The red F1 racecar that Shell sold exclusively a couple of years ago I put together and it's one of the few that I've never broken back apart. Some of their models are terrific. Though I STILL think if you buy the Sopwith Camel and Red Baron's Fokker Triplane you should get a bag of little white bricks for making a beagle, free. |
