Blogging is personal posts to a public or semi-public forum. NOt necessarily of a private nature, although they can be-basically, anything the person involveds wants to post (subject to the forum rules, of course).

I think you have to be logged into LiveJournal for the link to actually work.

Yeah, I logged out of LJ and tried, got the object not found, logged in, and tried, same result, then tried cutting and pasting the URL to that window while logged in...that worked.

I guess it's really for only the blogging types, then.

The Diary of Samuel Pepys, is now a blog.

This blog, which opens a window on London beginning 1 January 1660, is a presentation of the diaries of Samuel Pepys. A new entry written by Pepys is published each day. Pepys was appointed as "Clerk of the Acts", and was officially responsible for the secretarial side of the Navy Board’s work.

Phil Gyford runs the site as a labor of love.
