Ingrown hairs on shaft

Further to the thread on PPP, I'd like to inquire as to how many men here have ingrown hairs on the shaft, and how frequently these are encountered by the women here?

Casperr 12-03-2003 03:17 AM

I get ingrown hairs every so often, usually when I haven't shaved for a while or used a blunt razor. Don't get them on the shaft that much, though.

Best thing to do is use an exfoliant on the area, usually.

Umm..I'm not sure that's what they actually are, come to think of it, they're bumps exactly like the ones that have hair growing out of them around the base, except they continue up the underside of the shaft and don't have hair...Also got some little tiny bumpy thingies around the top of the foreskin...wonder what they are?

It's a condition called jksdfhshihfsfkanitis and you get it from not taking naked pictures and posting them:D;)

LMAO @ Lil! :)

Belial, I'm not sure I know what you're talking about. I think Lilith's on the right track - you need to post pics for us all to judge LOL :)

Sorry I can't help!

It sounds to me like sebaceous prominence, there is some information and pictures here.

Nope, it's the Lilith diagnosis! Post pics! :D

Yes, I think that's it. Thanks :)

Now...how normal is this?

Casperr 12-07-2003 06:30 AM

Teeheheeee, shaddup Steph! ;)

Great link Recliner, was a great help!
I've got them sebaceous thingies, but not too serious.

From the sounds of it, Belial, it's fairly normal!

I've got quite a bit, in some of the reading I did on the subject, which was very brief, because after I found out what they were and it was normal, I stopped caring. However, to answer your question almost everyone male and female have them, though the degree varies, so some people might never notice them.
