Can you get past having fundamental differences with someone just because they are fuckable?

I dunno, I think sometimes I'm strangely attracted to someone sexually that disagrees so passionately with me. I think if anything its kind of :hot:

As Alanis Morrisette once said, I'm into 'Intellectual Intercourse' so I love to discuss things with others who don't share my opinion - I have a great deal of respect for someone who can argue their point well without losing their temper and becoming personal about it (people like that are few and far between) and in general if I get into a debate with someone who disagrees with me strongly on something but is respectful of my view, I find myself liking that person more.

Whether I could go onto marry someone with very different views, I'm not sure - there are practicalities to consider if your views on children's upbringing etc are radically different. However someone having different views to me would not stop me from having sex with them, unless perhaps their views were very bigotted or prejudiced when it came to race, gender, sexuality, disability etc.

Hmmm, it would depend on certain factors. If she is a bitch just because she expected her man to buy her really expensive gifts and drive a really expensive car and all that... If we just had a difference of opinion on social issues... I'd still hit it.

If she is a bitch that is prone to show hate toward ethnic, religious, or just about any specific group... no way.

You make this one kind of easy to answer.If somebody is totally diffenent than I am,would I still fuck them? Simple question, to which I have a complicated answer.

I learned long ago that in order to have a relationship with someone, we do have to agree on a lot of things. Right, wrong, kids, and all the other biggies.

In order to sleep with someone, well...I have to like them. It doesn't take much for me to like someone, mind you, if the chemsitry's there. But it is necessary. And it can be anything. Smart, funny, kind, whatever. And heaven knows I've slept with people before knowing them well enough to know if they qualify as a bitch/bastard.

But as far as sleeping with someone I actively disliked.....couldn't do it without rohipnol. It takes a lot to make me dislike someone that much. But yeah, if I know they're cruel, bigoted, judgemental or hopelessly self absorbed....no chance. I've had the chance, I've even fantasized about the son of a bitch (and felt kind of icky about even that much)...but when it came to it, I turned him down. Yea me :) .
