I was planning to ask you where in Michigan you're from. By "heading for the football game" I assume you meant the Lions. So that tells me you are probably from somewhere in S.E. Michigan. How am I doing so far???? ;)

Are you from anywhere close to Detroit? I'm in Dearborn Heights...at least for now. Next week I'm heading to Missouri!:D

We have a bit of a Michigan contingent here....there's me, Miltone, DevlishGirl, one of our newer members Booger, and although she's in Ohio now, Vampeyes is from here too. If I've left any other Michiganders out, I'm sorry. But if there are any others by all means let us know! LOL :D:D

I watched some of the game yesterday. They lost again as usual, but if I'm not mistaked, they did seem to actually PLAY the game for a change. Is the new stadium as nice as it appears to be?
All in all, tho' I'd much rather watch the Red Wings.....:p ;) :D

Randy, Michigan is a lovely state, especially at this time of year. The leaves are starting to turn and the colors are just beautiful. In about another two or three months though, I'll be wanting OUT of here. Too dam cold brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, no one keeping me warm :(
Sugar (or Sprinkles :D) I am in Kalamazoo, in the southwest part of the state, but only a short couple hours from Detroit. I love going to the games though and it's worth it to me to make the drive. Yes, they lost again, not surprised by that, but they actually DID make it close which was great to see. They even had a chance to win in the last minute. The new stadium is really something to see...the fake grass even looks real. I was worried about the tailgating but the Eastern Market is perftect for that!
I love the Red Wings too, but have always been a football guy first. It IS nice though, to know that one of our teams has a chance to win their league championship.

Welcome to Pixies John, hope you enjoy yourself here - I've only been here a little under 2 months and have gotten to know some pretty wonderful people. We have a lot of fun here at Pixies as well as a serious moment now and then. Hope to bump into you sometime. :p
