Randy, Michigan is a lovely state, especially at this time of year. The leaves are starting to turn and the colors are just beautiful. In about another two or three months though, I'll be wanting OUT of here. Too dam cold brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, no one keeping me warm
Sugar (or Sprinkles ) I am in Kalamazoo, in the southwest part of the state, but only a short couple hours from Detroit. I love going to the games though and it's worth it to me to make the drive. Yes, they lost again, not surprised by that, but they actually DID make it close which was great to see. They even had a chance to win in the last minute. The new stadium is really something to see...the fake grass even looks real. I was worried about the tailgating but the Eastern Market is perftect for that!
I love the Red Wings too, but have always been a football guy first. It IS nice though, to know that one of our teams has a chance to win their league championship.
