I think alot has to do with the chemistry of the two people involved. And its an evolved situation in my case. Not a first encounter conversation, but something that happens over time of mutual sharing and mental bonding. (for lack of better terminology)

Open chat flirtatious fun is way different then an intimate one on one conversation. (ie: the love bean bag fun in chat this morning :grin

I adore cyberspace because in some/alot of cases people tend to be more relaxed to share their feelings and thoughts on subjects that just don't arise in normal life. I mean when was the last time you discussed masterbation with the guy ahead of you in line at the grocery? lol Funny thought huh?

I am very open in chat and in reality. Always have been that way. But a large part of my deviant mind stays sheltered for this forum to keep me from getting arrested hehe
