As Alanis Morrisette once said, I'm into 'Intellectual Intercourse' so I love to discuss things with others who don't share my opinion - I have a great deal of respect for someone who can argue their point well without losing their temper and becoming personal about it (people like that are few and far between) and in general if I get into a debate with someone who disagrees with me strongly on something but is respectful of my view, I find myself liking that person more.

Whether I could go onto marry someone with very different views, I'm not sure - there are practicalities to consider if your views on children's upbringing etc are radically different. However someone having different views to me would not stop me from having sex with them, unless perhaps their views were very bigotted or prejudiced when it came to race, gender, sexuality, disability etc.
