I'm not ready to go back to the office tomorrow.

I'm not as organized as I hoped to be by this point.

I am purging of some old things and it feels good to do so.

1. We had a good time on the phone last night, reminiscing about high school and giggling (both of us) like there was no tomorrow.

2. I don't feel much better today than I did yesterday, though.

3. There's a job I'm attempted to apply for that's right up my alley, so to speak...but it makes me nervous. I'm just starting to settle from all of the OTHER changes.

1. I'm still sick....and I'm taired all the time cause I wake myself up coughing

2. I have my mother and my mother in law in town for 10 days -- it's day 2 and I'm ready to send them home.

3. I stressed out from work, homework, and guests....and I'd like nothing better than to run away from *everyone* who wants something from me and just be by myself. <sigh> I haven't found myself this close to a breakdown in about 2 years.

4. I learned today -- really learned -- that I don't want to be my mom when I grow up (although I do love her)

1. I signed my son up for karate today, which will be good for him but which now makes me a soccer mom AND a karate mom.

2. I've got someone on my mind who is off being the great dad I know he is this weekend.

3. The kids and I have dinner plans tomorrow with the director of my show chorus--who also happens to have been elected my "big sister," and who has offered some vocal instruction tomorrow beforehand. I'm thrilled and self-conscious, all at once.

1. I felt like a good Habitat leader today.

2. The bathroom is almost fully painted and looks great. Well, on second thought, I'll wait to hear what the boss has to say before I pass judgement.

I got through a few more boxes today, and a few made their way to the basement for Goodwill.

It's a wonderful feeling to wake and open the windows and feel the cool and crisp air.

I didn't get around to grilling today, but did manage to get the meat out of the freezer for tomorrow.
