OMG, it may just happen!!!! After winning again this afternoon, the Cubs now have a 2 game lead over Milwaukee.  :

7 games behind the Mets on Sept. 12 - today they won the NL East and are in the playoffs for the first time since Joe Carter knocked Mitch Williams on his ass in 1993....
They open against the winner of the 1 game playoff tomorrow between San Diego and Colorado....

I wondered if just maybe you'd chime in with that moment in baseball history mm. 
How about that both Mitch and Joe were former Cubs. 
I honestly can't believe how the Mets folded down the stretch though. The Phillies were playing great ball but oh man did the Mets do a choke job!
