Scotz, you might be right on the name. I also miss the one with the little yellow yappy dog following the big greay bull dog. "mnah shaddup!" *smack*. You're also right about the politically correct b/s. The great thing about the old cartoons is it was no holds barred. The kids enjoyed them because they were funny and simple, the adults enjoyed them because they made light of what was wrong in the world. In essence it made them laugh at themselves. That and because they were simple. Speedy was another great character. Andole Andole Ariba! (sp?)

File this under "Didja Know?"

Speedy Gonzales first appeared (sans sombrero) in "Cannery Woe", along with the two cats, Lenny & George, characters lifted straight out of "Of Mice & Men"..."George, why did you hit yourself in the head?" Later "George" would be replaced by Sylvester, but Lenny would continue to call him George anyway.

Scotz, I'm a cartoon lover beyond belief. I even still have a poster of Bugs and Taz on my wall. You know way to much about Looney Toons. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a therapy for you. LOL.

Just my opinion, but I think Looney Tunes qualifies for therapy from dealing with the rest of the "normal" world

Collecting the 'toons was therapy for my OCD, and the perfect salve for my twisted sense of humor. Unfortunately, there came a point when I had nearly all the cartoons on tape, & had memorized most of them; gave me a wonderful way to relate to #1 son, tho.

A lot of the trivia I know I gleaned from a coffee table book on Bugs Bunny, the rest just absorbed from whatever movies, tv shows or articles I managed to see. There's a whole lot of us out there...

*You'rrrre dithpicable... & furthermore, you're impeccable*

I think just about everyone has some for of OCD. I know I do. I hate not having everything where I put them and how I put them. However, instead of memorizing cartoons, I memorize movies and books.

Bad ol' putty tat
