The look on my son's face yesterday afternoon when I took him to the Western Michigan football game, and gave him a tour of the Press Box, and up to the TV booth, where he met the on-air talent - a friend of mine, and got to talk on the headset, and then later in the night when I took him down onto the field.!!

From your statement, I bet he has come to this country and rolled into your office today. Chances to work closely with a foreign visitor don't come along every day. I don't know the point of his visit, but if it is to chip away at how you run things, don't let him press you for all your secrets. Offer him a hot toddy and stick to business. The odds are you will have some personal time to shoot the crap with him but don't let the devil know what's on the bottom foundation in your field. This one was actually yesterday afternoon but I'm still smiling at it this morning. While watching the Iowa football game yesterday my beagle showed his sentiments towards the way they were playing better than anything I could ever have screamed that the TV.

Iowa's QB had just thrown his 2nd or 3rd interception of the game and was jumping up and down making a flaming jackass of himself on the field and my dog decided to go right in front of the TV and hike his leg right on the floor almost as if in protest.

Normally he probably would have ended up staying down in the basement for the rest of the afternoon but yesterday it just felt like he was showing me how he felt about the game. Thankfully he did it on the hardwood floor and not the carpet. :rofl:

Being with my best friend and his whole family for their early Christmas celebration. Watching all of the kids, 7 in all (ages 4 thru 14), open their presents was great. I'm absolutely beat from being Uncle IowaMan all day long and having the little ones jump all over me but I can't think of a better way to have spent my day. :D

Someone drew knocked-out teeth holes in the smile of this pretty woman's face in the ad on the side of a city bus. It made me laugh out loud. It's juvenile, but I love it when people do that to ads, especially on the large, celebrity-driven ones.

The look my dog gave me a little bit ago when I took him outside. The other night I let him out and he decided to chase a rabbit so I had to go chasing after him in just my pj bottoms. A little bit ago while we were out the big bunny came out from behind the garage and was staring at Sarge, sort of daring him to come after him. Sarge saw him and took a couple of quick pounces in his direction and then just stopped. He turned around, looked at me and then sort of hung his head and came walking back to me without me even having to say a word.

This has been a pretty good day. I received a Christmas card from an old flame whom I haven't seen in about 16 years. She included an old pic of the two of us together and one of her and her two beautiful daughters. :)

Having a 'fight', though it was neither particular fight-ish, nor was that the part that made me smile. No, what made me smile is the fact that not only did we get to have makeup sex, but having makeup sex made both of us mysterious giddy and about as happy as could be with eachother.
